DDU-80 custom Sketchbot

The gaming world has a secret… a dark, dirty secret. While you happily go about your day, mindlessly dropping quarters into your favorite video-electric gaming cabinet at the local arcade, there are things happening inside of those machines. Horrible, terrible things. Things completely unrelated to Tron.

One such terrible secret plagues the happy world of mazes and fruit in the magical land of the “Pac-Man”. He loves dots, he craves dots, he is hopelessly addicted to dots. Have you ever stopped to think where those delicious debilitating dots originate? Of course not, you are all too busy enabling his grotesquely excessive consumption.

While the truth may destroy some of your most treasured memories, I feel that it must be revealed…
By unfortunate chance, I have discovered the true source of those seemingly endless strings of little yellow pills, and it is truly disgusting.

Dot Dispenser Unit 80 on base

Designation: DDU-80
Full Name: Dot Dispenser Unit 19-80

Primary Information: This bio-mechanical abomination was seemingly created for the sole purpose of excreting an addictive waxy yellow substance. The exact chemical composition of these droppings is unknown, but they thought to be highly hallucinogenic.

Inter-species dependencies: While DDUs appear to operate autonomously, the Pac-Men creatures who share the habitat may be entirely dependent on its droppings for sustenance. Such excessive consumption has resulted in a severe chemical dependency among the Pac-Men, characterize by frantic eating binges, hallucinations (primarily of ghosts), and a flu-like change in body temperature regulation, colloquially referred to as “Pac-Man Fever”.

Interaction: While they do not appear to be dangerous, it is advised to avoid contact with DDU. The droppings are highly toxic. Be aware of your environment while around a DDU – where there are dots, there are ravenous rampaging Pac-Men.
