They told the public it was excellent engineering, but there was another reason those Mars rovers lasted so long… someone or something was fixing them. The cameras captured glimpses, an eye here, an arm there. A top secret mission was mounted to investigate, samples were acquired and sent back to NASA. Unfortunately as soon as they arrived, the entire project budget was slashed and the boxes of samples sat unattended in a dark closet somewhere in Florida… until today

Pocket Change (Series 1)

In more Comic-Con related news, October Toys, 3D Retro and Scott Tolleson have teamed up to release a new series of limited edition engraved metal artists coins. These will be available at the October Toys booth #4838 for $10 with any extra going up after the con at PocketChangeArt.com. I should also have a few artist samples of my own design available at some point!

Glop in a Box: Biohazard (NYCC)

A box showed up on my doorstep one afternoon. This is not an altogether unusual experience, boxes show up at my studio all the time. But when I bent down to pick it up I noticed there was something different about this particular package. The box itself was bulging, a viscous fluid was slowly leaking from the bottom, and the whole thing had a distinct musty smell. I leaned closer to read the return address on the shipping label, and that’s when it started moving…

New York ComicCon @ Javits Center

New York Comic Con is finally back!

2010 Comic-Con preview roundup!

Break out your crayons! A new issue of the black and white art periodical Color Ink Book gets unleashed at booth #5569 during the 2010 International Comic-Con in San Diego. This new shirt, “Unraveled” will be debuting at the International Comic Con in just a few weeks (along with plenty of other fun stuff.) Stop by Dumbrella, booth 1335/1337. Can’t make it? Remainders and/or a new run will be available online shortly after the con.
