I took my little limbless friend to a local Sushi joint so that he could meet some of his relatives. Check out a few of the photos on my flickr stream!
Oh yes, and a few of the toys are now starting to be available at fine retailers, including the Dead Zebra, Inc shop! They are going fast, but there are a few more on the way. Order up!
Woops, looks like the contact form was broken for a few days, the CAPTCHA and the form should be working again. Sorry about that, please feel free to try again if you were attempting to get in touch!
I’ve been working with Kidrobot on various projects for 5 years, but strangely enough never got around to designing for their flagship Dunny character. Well, no more! Dunny Series 2009 is due out soon, and will include my Servant of Kali design. The 3″ blood-thirsty monster includes two tiny little blood splattered swords.

Kidrobot, along with several of their retailers, will be hosting release and trading parties on September 9th! Here is a handy printable checklist (pdf) if you are one of those completists!

If you can’t make it to a party, Dunny Series 2009 will be available September 10, at Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com, and select retailers for $7.95 each. I will have some signed AP editions available directly from the dead zebra shop in the near future.
Lots of random toy news this week! First up, imminent release of BIC Buddies, a strange lookin little blind box platform toy designed by Marka27 for BIC Plastics. My design is below, a little different for me, perhaps. I’ve seen one in person and it looks nice! Photos when I get samples.

Release parties / signings start this weekend in LA and make their way to NYC and Chicago. I’m not on any signing list, but I may stop by Toy Tokyo if I am in New York that evening.

..speaking of blind box platform toys, Dunny info tomorrow for those of you who haven’t already seen it!
Canadian production company, OSO Design house, sent me a few samples of their newly released series of shirts based on my Bhayanak Bax toy designs I did about two years back. They assure me that Bax series 2 is still being worked on so maybe some day these guys will actually be back in plastic! (looking doubtful)

…some more photos after the cut!
