I was digging around my old computer for a file when I came across this pic of my desk at Nickelodeon from about 6 years ago. This, my friends, is the birthplace of the Creatures in my Head!

I started drawing them in 2002 every time that stupid mac in the picture would crash (often). Then I started putting them on my cube walls. Then I started drawing them at home and putting them online…

6 years later and drawing creatures is somehow now my “job”! Oh magical days!

My friend Chris took this great photo at the previously mentioned Halloween party, thought I would share.

I’ve always enjoyed word games, like Scrabble or Bookworm. I saw a weird little crudely drawn ad on the bottom of my site and stumbled across the simply named WordGame (BETA). It’s a simple little mix of an RPG and Scrabble and it’s fun to play for a few minutes here or there. It’s still very early in development it seems as some features don’t work, and i don’t see any sort of pvp modes, but it’s got potential to be a good casual distraction!

I stopped by Toy Tokyo during an opening at the Showroom and noticed that there was a display of Allison Leach‘s ‘urban toy artists’ series of photo portraits up on the walls! There’s a wacky snap of me in the back room, check it out if you are in the east village any time soon.
